On February 26, Team Walker and students in the After School Program celebrated Black History Month with performances of music, dance and art.
Team Walker and New City Kids partnered up for an evening of performances by students in both After School Programs at PS #22 school. Kindergarten and 1st grade students presented their own spin on popular songs. 2nd grade read poems and 3rd grade delivered a mini dance. Musical and spoken word performances by Team Walker’s concert band and students made for a wonderful evening. Teachers from the After School Program presented an original student video project embodying strength, love and diversity.
