On April 9, 2019, Jersey City Police Department’s CHAT 4 Change Program, “Badges to Books,” paid Team Walker students a visit in the After School Program.
America’s Grow-a-Row once again returned to Team Walker for some healthy eating lessons with the children! The group came to the After School Program on March 12 and April 11 in order to better educate our youth about the benefits of healthy eating and safe cooking practices.
In celebration of Women’s History Month, Team Walker held its inaugural “Mommy & Me Afternoon Tea” on Friday, March 29, at the After School Program.

Farmers Market – held weekly, in conjunction with America’s Grow-A-Row, at Dr. Lena Edwards Park at the corner of Pine and Johnston in Jersey City. Free to all community members.
Thanksgiving Turkey Give-A-Way – for approximately 400 local families & seniors in need.
Holiday Christmas Party – hundreds of children receive a wrapped gift donated by Team Walker’s many sponsors.
