On April 9, 2019, Jersey City Police Department’s CHAT 4 Change Program, “Badges to Books,” paid Team Walker students a visit in the After School Program.
America’s Grow-a-Row once again returned to Team Walker for some healthy eating lessons with the children! The group came to the After School Program on March 12 and April 11 in order to better educate our youth about the benefits of healthy eating and safe cooking practices.
Throughout March and April, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office (HCPO) and Blacks in Law Enforcement Serving the Community (B.L.E.S.C) visited Team Walker’s After School Program to give educational lessons on gangs and violence.

In celebration of Women’s History Month, Team Walker held its inaugural “Mommy & Me Afternoon Tea” on Friday, March 29, at the After School Program.
