Upon completion of your donation or sponsorship package, the descriptor “TEAM WALKER, INC. 201-433-1888 NJ” will appear by the charge on your credit card statement.
Team Walker offers the option for individuals to donate and register for events and fundraisers online. When making a contribution using a credit card, there will be a processing fee associated with this contribution. The individual will not be charged with this processing fee, but the individual has the option to cover the fee. By default, Team Walker pays this processing fee, and the processing fee is deducted from the contribution. As Team Walker uses Braintree for online donation and contribution processing, the following lists the Braintree’s processing fees:
- 2.20% + $0.30 transaction fee for Diners, Discover, JCB, Maestro, MasterCard, UK Maestro, UnionPay, Venmo, and Visa.
- 3.25% + $0.30 transaction fee for American Express
- Cross border transaction rate: 1.00%
- Chargeback fee: $15.00
Team Walker provides the individual making an online donation, fundraiser registration or event sponsorship the option to cover the processing fee associated with the transaction. Team Walker gives individuals the option to cover an average processing fee of 2.30% per transaction, regardless of the credit card type used, nationally or internationally. An individual will be charged selects to cover the processing fee by checking the box next to the option to cover the processing fee.
All transactions online are considered donations and contributions by Team Walker as Team Walker does not sell any products. Generally, Team Walker has a no-refund policy in place. All transactions are considered final. However, Team Walker will consider a refund if a single transaction is processed multiple times or an error occurs while an individual completes and submits a general donation transaction. The individual completing the transaction must notify Team Walker immediately. Contacting Team Walker and notifying Team Walker of any issues is preferred before any additional steps are taken, and will help avoid Team Walker being charged a $15.00 chargeback fee for any transaction in addition to the gross transaction amount. Team Walker will make it right.
We take the privacy of your information seriously. We will not disclose personal information without your permission. To process your order, such as sponsorship package items, certain service providers may have access to your address, email and phone, but only for the purpose of completing the order and for internal tracking purposes. You will not be contacted by these service providers except in the case of questions or issues with your order and only after initial contact from Team Walker.
Data Collection and Security Policy:
Team Walker will collect personal data such as the personal information individuals enter and submit through any of our donation, event registration or contact forms. This personal data includes names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, etc. Team Walker will have access to this information once an individual clicks the “submit” button, and will add the individual to our newsletter mailing list, where individuals have the ability to opt-out. This personal information is stored by Team Walker internally and securely and into a CRM system– ELEO for outreach and event solicitation. ELEO follows stringent data security standards, and more information can be found on ELEO’s website here.
Team Walker does not collect, record or store any credit card information. All payment processing is done through Braintree after an individual completes a donation or event registration form through ELEO. Personal information related to your donation, commitment or event sponsorship will be shared with Braintree’s processing for the completion of your transaction.
