John Baier – Baier Consulting International

John T. Baier entered the insurance business while still attending Seton Hall University and worked as an agent for New York Life upon graduation. After serving in the military as an Artillery Officer in the Army, John resumed his career in the insurance business. In 1981, he was appointed Managing Partner of the Albany General Office.

On May 1, 1995, he returned to New Jersey as the Managing Partner. He has won almost every National Trophy with New York Life. He was the 2013 Inductee in to the GAMA International Hall of Fame; an award regarded as the highest honor in the Financial Services Industry. In February of 2015, he was appointed Executive Director of Seguros Monterrey New York Life. During this time, he joined the Board of Team Walker, after being inspired by a speech by one of the students at the Annual Dinner.

In September of 2016 John established Baier Consulting International, LLC. To foster “Exponential Growth Through Proven Systems. ” He is also the Co-founder & Chairman of 25 Point Systems Inc, featuring a mobile app of his 25 Point System.

Robin Cunningham

Robin Cunningham has worked in higher education for just about forty years.  She started the Office of Academic Support for Student-Athletes at Seton Hall University in 1984 and was director until 2003.  From 2004 until her retirement in 2021, Robin served as the Dean and Associate Vice President of Freshman Studies also at Seton Hall.  She has dedicated her career to the education and mentorship of her students. 

Robin and Jerry Walker have maintained their relationship since Jerry was a Student-Athlete at Seton Hall.  When Jerry first started Team Walker, Robin often volunteered as a tutor in the after-school program.  Since then, Robin has been involved on the Team Walker Board, and Jerry has called on her at times to participate in specific academic programs.  Robin is especially excited for Team Walker now as it is serving students with special needs in the after-school program while also developing a vocational training program to serve even more young people in the Jersey City community.

Patrick Dunne – Business Furniture, Inc. (bfi)

Patrick Dunne is currently the Chief Operating Officer of BFI, Inc. He brings more than 25 years of industry experience to the company and as COO, he is responsible for the overall growth and operations of the company. His experience and leadership have been focused on developing and delivering business services and solutions as well as driving profitable revenue growth. Prior to joining BFI, Pat owned and operated a large scale furniture liquidation company that operated across various market segments including corporate, government, education and healthcare environments.

Patrick is a proud graduate of Xavier High School and St. Peter’s University. In addition to being a member on the Team Walker Board, which he has served on since 2015 and has been a recipient of the Leo Zatta Award for his high level of commitment & service to the Organization, Patrick is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Make a Wish Foundation and an original benefactor in the construction and furnishing of the Make A Wish Castle in NJ. Patrick is a member of the Board of Consultors at Hudson Catholic High School and a recipient of the John P. Higgins award for outstanding service. Dunne also serves on the Rutherford Library Foundation, Rutherford Economic Committee, the South Hudson Civic Association, Xavier Business Council, Meadowlands YMCA and the Rutherford Irish Association where he served as Deputy Grand Marshall.

Bryan Felt – Seton Hall University

Bryan has served on the Team Walker Board since 2018.  He currently serves as the Director of Athletics & Recreation at Seton Hall University and was appointed to the role in July 2019.  Previously, Bryan was the Director of Athletics at Saint Peter’s University in Jersey City, NJ from 2017-19.  Prior to his appointment at Saint Peter’s, Felt was a Seton Hall University employee for 16 years, serving in various roles within the University Advancement and Athletic Department.  Felt holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication and Master of Arts in Corporate and Public Communication from Seton Hall University. A New Jersey native, Felt currently resides in New Providence, N.J., with his wife, Tara, and their three children, Tyler, Kyle and Kelsey.

Bob Fetterly – Reliance Graphics

Robert Fetterly was born and raised in Bloomfield, NJ.  A member of the Bloomfield Town Council from 1983 to 1993, Bob has always been active in the community.  A CYO basketball coach for 7 years, founding member of Sunset Classic Road Race and a founding member of the Bloomfield Education Foundation are just a few of his contributions to the community.

In 1980, Fetterly started Reliance Graphics which has become one of the leading Election Ballot printers serving several states. “Team Walker has been and continues to make a difference to the students of Jersey City. It has been a privilege to serve with others on this Board who care about the same goals for these kids” Fetterly said. He holds Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Management from William Patterson University. Bob joined the Team Walker Board in 2012.

Joe Hughes – Country Club Services

Joe has served on the Board of Directors since 2016 but has been a long time supporter of Team Walker.  Upon graduation from Seton Hall University, Joe (BS ‘71/ROTC ’71) served in the US Army and founded Country Club Services after returning from active duty in 1973.  Today Country Club Services provides parking and transportation management services to both local and national clients for special events, golf tournaments and entertainment/sporting events.

Along with Team Walker, Joe serves as Chairman of the Board for The Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children and is a member of the Board of Advisors of the Seton Hall Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Seton Hall Board of Regents Athletic Committee and the Finance Committee of St. Teresa of Avila in Summit.  An avid sports fan, Joe’s a loyal supporter and longtime Pirate season ticket holder and member of Canoe Brook CC.  Joe resides in Summit with his wife Lorraine and are supporters of many local charities.  With strong Hudson County roots, they both see Jerry Walker and all he has done for the youth of Jersey City as an outstanding and true servant leader.

Rich Lomurro – Lomurro Law

Rich Lomurro is a Seton Hall graduate and basketball fanatic.  He has been on the Team Walker Board of Directors since 2017.  Rich is dedicated to giving kids in our community a positive place to grow, learn, and achieve their goals.  Team Walker has become a passion for him as he has seen first hand the progress and achievement of Team Walker’s students.  He looks forward to a continuing to support the youth of Jersey City and other communities in New Jersey.

Rich Lomurro is a Partner of the Lomurro Law Firm in Freehold, New Jersey. He specializes in general litigation with a focus on catastrophic personal injury, corporate law and serious criminal cases.  Rich lives at the Jersey Shore with his wife and two children.

Craig McGraw – TransAm Trucking & Warehouse

Craig McGraw has served on the Team Walker Board of Directors since 2016. After graduating Seton Hall University in 2005, he started his career with Trans American Trucking & Warehouse in South Plainfield, NJ where he currently serves as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and watching Seton Hall Basketball.

Kevin McMahon – McMahon/Siegel Group

Kevin has been a supporter of Team walker for over 20 years and has been on the Board since 2018. Kevin’s experience includes being CEO and Chairman of Edwards and Kelcey, a nationally recognized Engineering firm headquartered in New Jersey, where he led the growth of the firm from $20 Million in Revenue to over $250 Million. Under his leadership, Edwards and Kelcey was named the Company of the year in New Jersey for 2001. Later, Kevin became a senior executive with international P&L responsibility at one of the largest public Engineering and Construction firms in the world, Jacobs. He has an MBA (Magna Cum Laude) from Seton Hall University where he received the Paul Stillman Leadership Award. He received a B.S. with Honors from The State University of New York at Oswego in Business/Economics.

Leo Zatta – Chairman

Leo joined the Team Walker Board in 2001 and has been Chairman since 2003. Zatta’s career spanned 30 years in public accounting in which he was a Partner at Wiss & Company, LLP specializing in forensics and valuations of closely held businesses. Most recently, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of an alternative investment fund.

A graduate of Seton Hall University, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, a Master of Business Administration in Finance (cum laude) and a Master of Science in Taxation (cum laude) from the Stillman School of Business. Zatta is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New Jersey and a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA).

He’s the Past President and on the Board of Directors of the Seton Hall University Alumni Association and past Chairman of the University Advisory Committee. Additionally, he is a Past President of the Stillman School of Business Alumni Association of Seton Hall University.

Currently, Leo is still very much involved with Seton Hall University and was elected to the Board of Regents of Seton Hall University effective July 1, 2015 serving on the Executive, Athletic (Chair), Audit and Committee on Regents Committees. Effective July 1, 2017, he was appointed to Seton Hall’s Board of Trustees by Cardinal Joseph Tobin, Archbishop of Newark.

Other activities include serving as President of the Warwick Valley Country Club and Business Administrator of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Highland Lakes, NJ.
