What is the Walk for Team Walker?

The Walk for Team Walker is an annual fundraiser featuring a 1.5 mile scenic walk along the Hudson River as well as snacks, music, and fun! All proceeds from the Walk will go towards the purchase of after school and summer school meals for the students.

How Can I Help?

Each year, we look for registrants, partners, and sponsors to help us make the Walk for Team Walker a great community and fundraising event. Perfect weather for this year’s Walk! The 2024 Walk kicked off on Wednesday May 8th along the Jersey City Waterfront. Many thanks to our wonderful sponsors: Lord Abbett, PPG, SILVERMAN, Country Club Services, LeFrak & Newport Associates, PSEG, IUOE Local 68, Jersey Mike’s and all of the walkers, volunteers and continued supporters who without, this event would not have been possible! And a special thanks to Smorgasbar for hosting the after party! Proceeds from this year’s Walk will contribute towards the purchase of meals and supplies for participants at the Walker Skills & Development Center.
