Team Walker students participated in the first of many athletics workshops on Friday, Feb. 21, 2020, from 3:00 to 6:00p.m. at Public School 22 in Jersey City, New Jersey. Volunteers from NJCU Community Recreation coached students in Team Walker’s After School Program through basketball drills and exercises. Students learned more about the sport and stayed active in NJCU’s state-of-the-art facilities.
Team Walker is collaborating with NJCU Community Recreation and NJCU Athletics to bring more sports and fun activities to Team Walker’s After School Program throughout the year. Team Walker’s K-2 and 6th graders had a blast; many thanks to NJCU Community Recreation!
